Jirard re-completed A Link Between Worlds for the 55th episode of The Completionist: New Game Plus. One thing he's disappointed with, though, is the easy difficulty of the bosses. Special attention is given to the freedom to do dungeons in any order, which Jirard loves. The painting mechanic surprised and impressed Jirard as well. He also appreciates the stamina meter for item uses. He puts a lot of stress on how important rupees are in this game compared to past ones, and praises the increased rupee limit. Jirard also praises how the gameplay feels familiar yet different in a lot of ways, citing Ravio's shop in particular. His only complaints about the presentation are the lack of detail on character models and laggy transition screens. He gives more heavy praise to the A Link to the Past fanservice the game provides, while keeping itself fresh. It's one of the first 3DS games he used the 3D for. Jirard is thoroughly impressed with the graphics. Released on November 22nd, 2013, Jirard reviewed The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds on the same day the game was released.
